Hi

I'm Jill! I've been baking for friends & family for about 9 years. I started Windowsill Baking Co. in July of 2021, did my first in-person local event in October of 2021 & now I sell at Tyler's Rose City Farmer's Market & do local events & pop-ups often. Follow me on social media to find out where I'll be next!

My Story

I was never the type who knew what I wanted to do since I was little or in high school or even in college. I spent several years taking different courses in different majors until I realized I wasn't really getting anywhere & decided to just get a full-time "adult" job. I found & fell in love with baking & cooking as a creative outlet after coming home from my unfulfilling job & on weekends. I began baking a new cake just about every week & making desserts for my friends' & family's special occasions. I decided that this is what I want to do as a career so I enrolled in a culinary program & got a job at a bakery. About 2 years later, I became pregnant & began staying home with my daughter full-time & baking really took a backseat to having a newborn. Once my daughter started preschool a few days a week, I suddenly had several hours to myself & slowly picked baking back up.

It's truly the only thing I've ever been passionate about enough to stick with. Being in the kitchen is my happy place & creating delicious treats from simple ingredients like flour, butter & eggs is so rewarding to me. To be able to share them with others is beyond what I could have hoped for!

I love creating desserts for life's big moments, little moments & everything in between. Thank you for being here!
